Obertura (Overture) - PREMIERE

SYNOPSIS

In the centre of the space, the guests form the audience; in front of them, a small box serves as a miniature theatre; and inside the box... it is so dark you can’t see a thing. But if you look closely, you might just see something. Can you hear that whisper? What is it? It appears and disappears gently. It’s becoming more and more present, closer and closer. The light, the sound... more and more present. More and more. And suddenly, you don’t know how... but it happened. You’ve entered. You’re inside. You look. You listen. Now it can all begin.

Obertura is a show that uses light and music to invite the audience to experience the performing arts in an intimate, immersive and participatory way. The show explores the apparent difference between the tangible and the intangible. Overture invites us on a journey to explore the gap between what we see and touch, and what we perceive but cannot explain.
