Reflection session through the arts on the representation that various modern and contemporary photographers have created regarding early childhood. Session aimed at preschool teachers.

The session will consist of three parts:

  1. Collective viewing of artistic photographs: We will explore works by different artists (Cartier-Bresson, Tanit Plana, Niki Boon, Alain Laboile, among others) who have captured the essence of childhood through the camera lens. Through the viewing of these images, we will reflect on the concept of childhood and education, the foundation of the participants' professional practice.
  2. Narrative: I will distribute a photograph from the photographers we saw in the first part to each participant. I will invite each teacher to write a narrative based on what the image suggests to them. Short narrative (10-15 lines). We will read some of them aloud.
  3. Photocollage: In groups of 4, we will create a photocollage that responds to the concept of childhood that the teachers have agreed upon. We will display all the final works.
