Xarxa (Network)

Xarxa is an artistic and community co-creation proposal promoted by laSala and the Festival elPetit, designed by the artist Eva Vázquez Abraham. Through several weaver days, both within the prisons of Brians 2 and Quatre Camins and in open spaces in the territory, internal families and families from outside share time, threads and words to shape a great collective piece.

This project invites everyone to join in the development of a large textile network, woven through open meetings where they can share conversation, threads and presence. Beyond the final piece, the initiative is a meeting place, where play and art become tools to connect diverse realities and erase the limits between inside and outside.

Weave? Whether you have a hook experience or have never done it before, you can participate by bringing your textile contribution or joining the weaving sessions!

The result of this shared process is Xarxa, a game installation that will occupy the lobbies of the elPetit Festival spaces in November 2025. But beyond the final object, the true fabric is what is built between people.
